My 1290 Super Adventure runs a reliable 60 degrees C above the ambient temp when warmed up. It will go to 95-98 C in traffic or slow speed riding on a hot day but 60 degrees C above ambient seems to be like clockwork. That is with an aftermarket muffler. Don't know how much hotter it will run with the factory can on.
